ANT SEASON IS HERE

It’s that time of year again. Ant Season!

Ants will go into a dormant stage during the winter months in which they will just hunker down in their colony feeding off of the fats, carbohydrates and proteins they have stored up during the late summer and fall months.

As the weather warms it signals the ants to emerge from dormancy. These ants have been dormant all winter and now need the workers to provide nutrition for the reproductive queens as quickly as possible for survival.
